PERSONAL PROSE:
Devona L. Foster is a doctoral candidate in the Administration of Higher Education Program at Auburn University. Currently, she is a Presidents' Graduate Opportunity Program (PGOP) Fellow and serves as the Coordinator of Office Operations for Sisters of the Academy Institute. Ms. Foster's research interests encompass the contributions of African-American women in academia; the success of African-American faculty in academia; minority students' access, retention, and mentorship in higher education; and campus climate as it relates to minority students, faculty, staff, and administrators. Devona aspires to work at a major research institution upon graduating from Auburn University.
