Giovanna Brasfield received her BA in Business Administration/Marketing from Mount St. Mary\'s College in 1998, her MBA from University of Phoenix in 2000 and finished course work for her DPA in Public Administration from University of La Verne in 2004, while simultaneously starting the Ed.D. program in Organizational Leadership at the University of La Verne. Ms. Brasfield is also a graduate of the Los Angeles African American Women Public Policy Institute (LAAAWPPI) Class of 2005.
Ms. Brasfield has over 10 years of experience in marketing, market research and business development. Ms. Brasfield\'s professional experience includes serving as a Research Assistant from 1999 to 2000, Pricing Strategy Analyst and Marketing Analyst with Nissan North America, Inc. from 2001-2003 and as Marketing Director with Tenacious Entertainment since 2003. In addition, Ms. Brasfield contracts as the Associate Dean for the College of Business at Irvine University and also as Executive Director for the Consortium of American Schools Colleges and Universities (CASCU).
Ms. Brasfield is also the founder of Brasfield & Associates Marketing, a marketing consulting company that offers a broad range of marketing, event and sales consulting services. Ms. Brasfield is also a professor for Irvine University, California International University and American InterContinental University since 2004, for both instructions of Bachelor’s and Master’s level programs.
Ms. Brasfield is a member of Los Angeles African American Women Public Action Committee (LAAAWPAC), Association of Pan African Doctoral Scholars, Inc. (APADS), Sisters of the Academy Institute, New Frontier Young Democrats, Consortium of American Schools, Colleges, and Universities (CASCU), Economic Empowerment & Development Foundation, Los Angeles County Chamber of Commerce, American Society of Public Administration (ASPA), the Sierra Club, Irvine University’s Student Bar Association, and evolved with many other organizations.
