Martine Kei Green, a Norfolk, VA native, comes from a career as a dramaturg and theatre academic. She received her B.A. in Theatre from Virginia Wesleyan College, her M.A. in Theatre History and Criticism from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. and then set her sights on the PhD program in Theatre and Drama at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (where she is in the last stages of coursework before her dissertation). Recently,Martine has been a FAIR fellowship recipient in Dramaturgy at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, dramaturg for University of Wisconsin-Madison’s productions of The Mystery of Irma Vep and Crumbs from the Table of Joy, dramaturg for 10 Perfect (which was presented as part of the Madison Repertory Theatre’s New Play Festival), as well as other productions in the regional Washington D.C. area and other academic institutions.
